Teaching Personnel – 1:1 Teaching Assistant Needed We are looking for a strong minded, resilient, proactive individual to individually work in a 1:1 capacity in a flexible role, directly with an Autistic student who has challenging behavioural habits in Year 3 Primary.
The location of the job is in Pontypool – NP4 area.
This 1:1 Teaching Assistant hourly rate of £12.90 and we would expect you to start the role as soon as you are cleared through our company's vetting process.
What we're looking for: Someone who is resilient and determined High levels of emotional awareness and maturity Previous experience working with ALN, SEN Have a nurturing and caring nature Invigorating methods of teaching and adaptability Possess proactive and patient habits High level communication and verbal skills Ability to maintain a positive and safe environment at all times Desirable Criteria: Previous experience working in/outside of school in ALN or childcare setting Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) Certified in any Autism awareness course Passionate for the field We look forward to hearing from you and will expect quick turn around when responding back to applicants.
