Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with SEMH needs?
We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team at a leading independent SEMH school in Thetford.
As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of primary and secondary aged students with complex needs.
You will play a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
Responsibilities: Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
Providing individual and small-group support to students.
Supervising students during activities and breaks.
Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting social skills.
Maintaining accurate records and reports.
Contributing to the overall pastoral care of students.
Requirements: Experience working with children, preferably with SEMH needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
