Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Lancaster, Lancishire Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £83.85 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities Assisting students with their learning and educational development Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment Preparing educational materials and resources Supervising students during break times and activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience working with children in an educational environment Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good organisational and time-management abilities Preferred Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work primarily takes place in a classroom setting May involve standing or sitting for extended periods Potential exposure to noise and behavioural challenges May require occasional lifting or carrying of educational materials All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
