We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a positive impact on students' educational journeys.
This role is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about supporting student learning and fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, supporting the delivery of lessons, assisting with classroom management, and providing targeted support to students who may require additional help.
Key Responsibilities Assist the teacher in preparing classroom materials and resources to support effective learning.
Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Promote positive behavior management strategies and support a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Help monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers to tailor instructional strategies.
Support students with special educational needs (SEN), including adapting learning materials as needed.
Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as break times, lunchtimes, and school trips.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/guardians to support holistic student development.
Requirements Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting (preferred but not essential).
A strong passion for education and supporting student development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in responding to diverse student needs.
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Willingness to undergo background checks and safeguarding training, as required.
