We are looking for a dedicated Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 class in Hackney.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.
What we're looking for: Previous experience working in schools, particularly in Key Stage 2.
A background in managing and supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs.
Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
The ability to remain calm, patient, and solution-focused in challenging situations.
An understanding of behavior management strategies and how to implement them effectively.
Your responsibilities will include: Supporting children with behavior and learning needs, both individually and in small groups.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress.
Implementing behavior support plans and working collaboratively with the SENCO and class teacher.
Encouraging the development of key social and emotional skills, building pupils' confidence and resilience.
Monitoring and recording pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
