Our partner secondary school are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Derby, DE1.
The role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting learners, enhancing their academic growth and personal development.
Role Responsibilities: Actively support students with special educational needs to access and engage with learning Deliver personalised 1-1 and small group support Monitor and facilitate the progress of students, nurturing their social, emotional and academic development Establish open lines of communication with members of staff and parents Facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation with learning Support classroom teachers with maintaining a positive learning environment Requirements: A relevant qualification or degree is desirable Experience of working within an education setting or similar Demonstrate the ability to work with diverse learning needs, adapt learning and provide tailored support Have a passion for education and fostering a positive learning experience for all students An Enhanced DBS and two references are requirement for this role If you feel you would be the right fit for this role, then please apply through submitting your CV.
