Job Title: Teaching Assistant Job type: Supply Location: Cheshire West Excell Supply is recruiting for passionate teaching assistants to work in primary and/or secondary schools in and around Cheshire West on a supply basis, with the potential opportunity for short and long term roles as well as day to day supply.
Role Overview: As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning and classroom management.
Your role may involve assisting with providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, and helping create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
Support individual students or groups of students in their learning.
Help maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.
Person specification: Essential: A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students lives.
Excellent communication skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Ability to work individually and taking initiative as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable but not essential: Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
A relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
Will accept candidates with no experience or qualifications but transferable skills.
