GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in Chandlers Ford .
This is an exciting opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to support students and help them thrive in an engaging and positive learning environment.
Role Overview: As a Teaching Assistant , you will support students in a variety of ways, both inside and outside the classroom.
You will assist the teacher with lesson delivery, work one-on-one with students who need extra support, and help create an inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and development.
Your role as a TA will be vital in helping students succeed academically and socially.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant: Assist the teacher with classroom activities and lesson planning.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help with their studies.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere where students feel confident and engaged.
Support classroom management, ensuring students stay focused and motivated.
Help develop learning materials to support student activities and engagement.
Provide emotional and social support to students, helping them build confidence.
Monitor student progress and report back to teachers to contribute to the improvement of learning strategies.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting students' development.
Experience in a Teaching Assistant or similar role is desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for working with young people, assisting them to achieve their academic potential.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
A solid commitment to safeguarding, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV and two relevant references from within the last two years.
Have an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
