Teaching Assistant Location: Boscombe Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time / Part-time Salary Scale: £76.92 - £95.68 per day (Depending on experience) GSL Education are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our client schools in Boscombe .
This role will involve assisting teachers with individual learning plans, managing small group activities, and offering one-to-one support for students requiring additional guidance.
As a Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide tailored support to students, ensuring a nurturing learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic progress.
Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant: Support the class teacher with daily lesson planning and delivery Assist students with their individual learning needs Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom atmosphere Supervise classroom activities and behaviour management Facilitate effective communication with students, parents, and staff members Qualifications for a Teaching Assistant: Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Prior experience in a classroom or support role preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of child development and safeguarding practices As an ethical, inclusive, and independent recruitment agency, GSL Education are committed to providing quality teaching and support staff in schools across the UK.
