Teaching Assistant |Rugby,CV22| £90-£105 | Long-Term to Permanent | ASAP Start LTF Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs in a supportive and inclusive mainstream school in Rugby.

Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with ASD, focusing on managing behaviour and supporting their academic progress.
Implement strategies from the pupil's Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) and adapt learning activities to meet their specific needs.
Assist with behaviour management and ensure the safety and engagement of the pupil throughout the school day.
Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to monitor progress and update support strategies as needed.
Utilise Manual Handling or Team Teach training to manage challenging behaviours safely and effectively.
Requirements: Previous experience working with children with ASD and behavioural challenges is essential.
Relevant qualifications and Manual Handling or Team Teach training are required.
A patient, empathetic approach and strong behaviour management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with the school team and adapt to the pupil's changing needs.
