Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in Ashford .
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
This is a rewarding role that involves helping children reach their full potential in a caring and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities : Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.
Support individual students or small groups with learning activities.
Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs (SEN).
Foster a supportive and engaging environment to help pupils thrive.
Work collaboratively with staff to ensure the welfare and progress of students.
Requirements : Previous experience working with children (preferably in an educational setting).
A patient, caring, and supportive nature.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
A willingness to support students with SEN and/or challenging behaviours.
Desirable : A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or similar).
Experience in primary or secondary education.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
