Teaching Assistant for Children with Mental Health Needs - Bristol ASAP Start Platform for future psychologists, therapists, counsellors and other relevant fields such as criminal justice Would you like a role supporting the mental health of young people?
Supporting young children and adolescents aged 8 to 18 with trauma, mental health and behavioural challenges as well as Looked After Children An inclusive specialist school for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs based in Bristol are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with behaviour and mental health issues.
Graduates who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology would be great for this but candidates with relevant experience will also be considered!
This school has great transport links and the role is full-time starting ASAP.
The SEN students are aged 8 to 18 and all have significant developmental trauma, emotional needs and behavioural challenges so the successful mental health assistant will be supporting each individual's wellbeing and personal development.
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for the successful mental health assistant to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school.
