The ideal candidate will: Establish positive relationships with children Experience of supporting a child with SEND Have experience of supporting children with speech and language neds, including augmented communication e.g.
using Makaton or PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) Be adaptive and responsive to children's needs Have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum Be an effective communicator Be ambitious for every child Have resilience and energy Be an excellent team player This post is for 15 hours per week and the hours currently required are: Monday 9.00am - 12.00pm Tuesday 9.00am - 12.00pm Wednesday 9.00am - 12.00pm Thursday 9.00am - 12.00pm Friday 9.00am - 12.00pm Further opportunities may be available for a suitable candidate.
This is a temporary contract which will cease when this funding ends on 31st August 2025 or when the child leaves the school, if this is earlier.
