Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: Maple Grove School, Chester Hours: 5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8 Contract: Permanent, Term Time only About the Role: We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our team at Maple Grove School, a specialist setting for learners with autism.
The successful candidate will work specifically with individual pupils who require 1:1 staff support, managing multiple social, emotional, and learning challenges.
This role involves close working partnerships with agencies supporting the pupil, including Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapy Service, and an Educational Psychologist.
Responsibilities include attending to the welfare and learning needs of pupils, undertaking general clerical/organisational support for the teacher, and promoting the welfare of pupils.
