Teaching Assistant (SEN School) - British Sign Language (Level 2 or Higher) Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant SEN school community.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is not only experienced in working with children with diverse needs but is also fluent in British Sign Language (Level 2 or higher).
What you'll be doing Supporting students with special educational needs, including those with hearing impairments and communication difficulties.
Facilitating classroom activities and helping deliver tailored educational plans.
Using your BSL skills to communicate effectively with students, ensuring they feel understood, valued, and supported.
Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
Building strong, trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
What we're looking for A relevant qualification in British Sign Language (Level 2 or higher).
Experience working with children in an SEN setting, with a focus on patience, empathy, and adaptability.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A proactive approach and a genuine desire to help children reach their full potential.
