Teacher of Maths Location: York, North Yorkshire Start Date: January 2025 Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum Contract: Full Time GSL Education's North Yorkshire Branch is currently recruiting for Maths Teacher to work at a Client Secondary School located 13 miles north of York, North Yorkshire.

Teacher of Maths Responsibilities: Deliver Maths lessons to a range of abilities in line with curriculum objectives at Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels.
Maintain organised learning resources.
Support the progress of all students by taking an active role in departmental support.
Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining peace, motivation and challenge.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
Use creative teaching methods to engage students in lessons.
Teacher of Maths Requirements: Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant Degree.
Ability to work well within a team and share best practice across the school.
Have a committed and passionate view of students with SEND.
Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with high expectations of both learning and behaviour.
Hold a Child Only DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one with GSL Education.
