Job title: Teacher of KS3 Humanities Contract: Temporary or Permanent Start date: January or Easter 2025 Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in Humanities that engage students and enhance their learning experience.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote improvement.
Contribute to curriculum development and the creation of engaging learning materials.
Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance your teaching practice.
Requirements Qualifications and Experience Required: A relevant degree in Humanities or a related field.
A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Humanities at Key Stage 3 level.
Strong understanding of the curriculum and effective assessment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
