Teacher of Humanities (RE/History) Full-Time | MPS/UPS | January 2025 Start | Essex based The PWR team is partnering with a well-respected secondary school to find a talented and dedicated Teacher of Humanities, specializing in RE & History, start from January 2025.

As the Teacher of humanities you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons to students at Key Stage 4 and 5.
The role offers a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale, commensurate with experience, and provides the opportunity to work within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess History & RE lessons for students in Key Stage 4 and 5.
Foster a dynamic classroom environment that encourages active learning and independent thinking.
Monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention to support academic achievement.
Provide a positive and nurturing environment, supporting students in their personal and academic development.
Participate in the school's extracurricular activities and wider community initiatives.
Person Specification Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching History & RE, ideally at both Key Stage 4 and 5.
A genuine passion for the subject and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their best.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community.
A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
