Teacher – Primary Location : Smallfield, Surrey Contract : Full-time, Permanent Salary : £33,075 - £50,471 per year (M1 - UPS3 Fringe) plus £5,000 Welcome Bonus for Qualified Teachers* Hours : 40 hours per week Start Date : As soon as possible (notice periods considered) Why Apply?
You are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students and their families You want to contribute to our broad and creative curriculum You are inspired by working with a diverse and engaging student population You value collaboration and enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team You are committed to student and staff well-being, and you want to work for an organisation that shares your values You seek professional growth within an organisation that supports, develops, and invests in its staff Key Responsibilities : You will be accountable to the school leadership team and responsible for delivering key teaching duties, including but not limited to: Delivering and developing the curriculum with consideration to the educational, physical, and social needs of students in a supportive learning environment Collaborating with staff members as part of a multi-disciplinary team Developing and using short, medium, and long-term plans to effectively deliver the curriculum Setting, monitoring, and reviewing personalized learning targets for each student Monitoring, assessing, reviewing, and reporting on students' progress to parents, colleagues, senior staff, and relevant external bodies Creating structured, engaging lessons that maintain pace, motivation, and challenge Contributing to reviews of Statements, EHC plans, PEPs, and LAC reviews Keeping up-to-date with current issues in the field of autism to enhance teaching and learning practices Using non-confrontational approaches to meet individual student needs effectively Skills and Qualifications : PGCE, QTS , or equivalent teaching qualification with evidence of in-service training Experience in teaching primary-aged students with the ability to teach across a range of subjects Experience with ASD , SEMH , and PDA profiles Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures Experience managing a variety of behaviour approaches, including challenging behaviours Benefits : Be part of a successful team and enjoy a generous benefits package that includes: Life assurance Competitive pension £5,000 Welcome Bonus (payable in two instalments: 50% after probation, 50% after one year) Perkbox – offering high street discounts Employee assistance programme Car lease scheme Fully funded training and qualifications Bike to work scheme Free membership to our Health cashback plan (reclaim costs for dental, optical, physio, and more)
