Our client - a primary school in Waltham Forest - requires a talented, dedicated and hard-working SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is an ideal role for an experienced teacher with a genuine passion for helping children with special educational needs.
You will need to be flexible, resilient and have a positive outlook on life.

The successful candidate will have a degree in either Education or Special Education Needs, and experience teaching in a mainstream or SEN environment.
You will need to be able to build relationships with children and parents, and be confident in your ability to work with children with a range of SEN.
The role will involve supporting the teaching staff in the classroom, helping to deliver lessons, managing behaviour, encouraging participation and helping children to develop their skills.
You will need to be able to plan and deliver lessons effectively, and to be able to assess the progress of the children.
You will also be required to liaise with parents and other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists and psychologists.
You will need to be able to build a positive relationship with parents and other professionals, and be able to work as part of a team.
