Job DescriptionAs part of the Tax & Financial Accounting team, you'll be joining a global group responsible for preparing and submitting indirect and direct tax filings, statutory account filings, and handling treasury back-office functions.
Your role will be to maintain a high standard of service delivery, meeting agreed timelines.You'll ensure full compliance with all company policies and complete your tasks within set deadlines while delivering excellent service to both Informa customers and colleagues.Informa takes the security and privacy of company, colleague and customer data seriously and you are responsible for working securely and supporting this within your duties.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all relevant queries are followed up in a timely mannerPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations to a high standard and to deadlineAssist with the preparation and submission of corporation tax and withholding tax returnsComplete detailed analysis of general ledger codes for use in the tax returnsAssist with obtaining certificates of residence from tax authoritiesPrepare draft statutory accounts with clear and concise working filesAssist with the iXBRL tagging of the statutory accountsAssist with posting, reporting and any other work associated with dormant and non-trading entitiesPrepare and review National Statistic returnsAssist with the review of Assistant Accountants work as requiredAssist with the daily and monthly treasury back office processesAssist with monitoring team inboxes and responding on a timely basisAssist with preparation of information for internal and external stakeholders on an adhoc basisAssist with adhoc project work as requiredSkills & Abilities:Good communication skills with the ability to build good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, internal departments and key contactsAble to build relationships with stakeholders within and outside of the organisation.Evidence of making decisions at the right time based on the information availableQualificationsStrong academic background, Accounting degree preferableMust be ACA or ACCA qualifiedAdditional InformationWe work hard to make sure Life at Informa is rewarding, supportive and enjoyable for everyone.
