Tax Director opportunity in a leading Accountancy firm Leadership opportunity working with a well-established client base About Our Client Our client is a leading professional services firm with a particular focus on private client work, operating in the St Albans area. They focus on delivery high-quality services and pride themselves on their client care.
Job Description The responsibilities of the Tax Director will include:
Managing a portfolio of Trust, Probate and Estate planning clients, including meeting with and onboarding new clients Preparing & reviewing accounts and tax returns for trust & estates Managing the probate process from start to finish Providing strategic advise for Wills, Estate planning and IHT Maintaining strong client relationships providing exceptional service and support Team leadership; delegating & reviewing work for team members, as well providing training and mentoring Supporting in business development for growth of the firm The Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have completed the CTA and/or STEP qualification, with a strong background in working with a private client and/or probate client portfolio, including experience of trusts & IHT. The successful candidate will in particular have experience in the probate process as this will be a key area of specialism in this role. The ability to build strong client relationships, manage multiple projects and line manage a small team will also be required.
