Tax Director

My client based on the outskirts of Edinburgh are looking to hire a Tax Director.
Youll lead tax services, oversee client portfolios, and provide high-level tax advisory.
This is a senior role with significant client and team leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities: Tax Advisory: Deliver expert tax advice on corporate, personal, inheritance, VAT, and international tax matters.
Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with clients, delivering strategic tax planning.
Tax Planning: Develop innovative tax strategies, ensuring compliance with current laws.
Compliance Oversight: Manage timely and accurate tax filings for client portfolios.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their growth and development.
Process Improvement: Enhance tax reporting and compliance processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with partners and departments to deliver integrated financial solutions.
Requirements: Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor (CA, ACA, ACCA, CTA).
Experience: 3+ years post-qualification experience, ideally in an accountancy or professional services firm.
Skills: Strong tax knowledge, client management, team leadership, and excellent communication skills.
Technical Proficiency: Experienced with tax software (e.g., CCH) and MS Office, especially Excel.
