An established and highly successful UK based family office is seeking an experienced Tax Director to join their evolving finance team.
The highly successful family manages a number of profitable companies operating across the UK and Europe, with plans in place to continue its expansion across the continent.
This position offers a rare opportunity to join a family office to work closely with the principal but also advise on their private business interests as a part of a high calibre finance team.
The environment is fast paced and agile; intellectual problem solving is key as there are many interesting high-profile deadline driven projects.
Your new role
The Family Office element of the role of Tax Director will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising the familys tax affairs, and will also be involved in the financial and structural affairs.
This role requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in succession planning, structuring, risk management, and tax compliance.
The ideal candidate will act as the central point of contact between the family, senior executives, and external advisors, ensuring seamless implementation of advice and coordination of internal and external projects.
The Private Business element of the role of Tax Director will lead the tax management across all business entities.
A number of these companies operate in multiple jurisdictions, and optimising tax efficiencies across these jurisdictions will be key.
The companies have similar structures, and therefore there are significant synergies.
In addition, there will be the day-to-day business as usual optimisation.
In addition to personal expertise, advisers will be used and actively managed where needed.
