Our client is a successful and well-established accountancy practice in East Kent seeking a talented Personal Tax Assistant to join their dynamic team.
Our client has over 100 years' of working with businesses and individuals, with a commitment to excellence, innovation and helping their clients achieve their financial objectives.
As a Tax Assistant, you will be an integral part of the tax team, supporting senior accountants and contributing to the delivery of high-quality tax services.
Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation of tax returns for individuals.Conducting tax research and staying updated on current tax laws and regulations.Supporting senior staff with tax planning and advisory services.Communicating with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation.
What you need to bring AAT qualified.Previous experience in a personal tax-related role within an accountancy practice.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
