Tax Accountant - Industry

Hayward Hawk is delighted to be working in partnership with scaling global business to recruit for a Tax Accountant to join their Belfast team.
Reporting to the Head of UK Tax, this is a great opportunity to build your career in a supportive and collaborative environment with a clearly defined career trajectory.
The Role - Prepare and submit business tax computations for group entities - Assist with the year-end close, Deferred Tax calculations, and prepare tax disclosures for statutory accounts - Support with UK VAT returns, reconciliations, and advise on VAT questions from partners and finance teams.
- Cross functional projects - capital allowances and employment taxes, digital tax initiatives, business restructuring, and international tax.
The Person - ACA, ACCA, CTA -Solid background in UK corporate tax , strong understanding of compliance within a large group - VAT experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to explain tax and accounting topics to non-specialists clearly and confidently.
- Good at building relationships with team members, external advisors, and stakeholders.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
