Tax Accountant

Tax Accountant West Midlands (Hybrid) c£70,000 + Bonus + Bens Our client is a PE backed multisite company, as they complete a period of transformation they are now seeking a hands on, dynamic Tax Accountant to join them to ensure all internal and external reporting of tax is completed accurately and timely, duties will include:-
Prepare corporate tax computations, VAT returns, and handle irrecoverable VAT postings.
Enhance VAT recoverability and ensure compliance.
Generate quarterly tax calculations for payment on account.
Prepare tax pack for statutory accounts and assist in the audit process.
Oversee long-term tax model, evaluating liabilities and mitigation strategies.
Lead Capital Allowances process improvements.
Manage group relief model and support for CIR.
Contribute to disposals program and cost base initiatives.
Support year-end processes, including statutory account preparation.
Maintain and document core tax processes as needed.
You will be a qualified accountant with experience in statutory reporting and looking for a role focussed on both direct and indirect tax.
