Contract 6 Months Job Description: Our client, a prominent utilities firm, is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the delivery of critical IT projects in collaboration with third-party vendors.
This strategic role requires shaping project workstreams, managing external partners, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Candidate will be experienced in asset management , capable of handling end-to-end processes involving assets.
Skilled in shaping projects , engaging with third parties for delivery, and ensuring robust standards and controls are established.
Focus on delivering structured outcomes and maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Define and shape project deliverables in collaboration with third-party vendors.
Manage and oversee third-party performance to ensure successful delivery of IT projects.
Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges effectively.
Maintain robust financial control, including budget oversight and cost management.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure delivery excellence.
Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience delivering IT projects, preferably within the utilities sector.
Experience in Asset Management Skilled in shaping projects, ultra organised and strategic Expertise in third-party/vendor management with a track record of achieving results.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent financial control and budget management skills.
Solid understanding of risk management practices.
