What does the role involve?
A brand new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist in the UK or Europe to join our inclusive and growing global team in a role you can truly make your own.
As the face of Talent Acquisition for George Clinical US & Europe, you will be the first point of contact and responsible for overseeing aspects of the recruitment function while partnering closely with our HR team and Head of HR located across the globe.
This is a busy and hands-on recruitment role that will see you maximising our talent branding and generating as much candidate interest and CVs as possible for open and future opportunities globally.
The role focuses on: Partnering with hiring managers, the HR team and other stakeholders to understand recruitment briefs, designing strategies to maximise candidate and market interest in our current and future opportunities Overseeing and building the talent acquisition process with a focus on all job board advertising including Linkedin and generating high quality candidate traffic and CVs Targeting active and passive candidate pools to build ongoing pipeline for all opportunities Hands-on stakeholder management and recruitment coverage including phone screening, updating databases, organising interviews, reference checks and offers Management of external recruiters and negotiating lower fees as required Adhoc HR support work and projects including onboarding, talent management and engagement as needed.
What are our expectations of candidates?
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role ideally from a Life Sciences or CRO background with strong industry knowledge A proven track record in achieving recruiting KPIs and marketing campaigns to drive candidate interest and traffic Excellent verbal and written English skills with an additional Asian language advantageous (ideally Mandarin) Strong interpersonal communication skills with a varying level of stakeholders – from junior employees through to senior managers Familiarity with a matrix management model and regional or global working practices Tertiary qualifications in HR or a relevant area advantageous The ability to maintain a sense of humour even in challenging situations plus a general liking of fun!
