About the role:As the first hire in Aspire's People team in UK and Europe, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our teams in new key markets. In this hybrid role, you will be working closely with the Head of Talent and the People Operations and Experience Manager to scale Aspire in the United Kingdom and beyond. You will be part of an amazing team responsible for attracting like-minded A-players to join our fast-growing organization while owning exciting people projects that impact the overall success of Aspire.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Talent Acquisition (60%):Partner with hiring managers to advise and understand hiring needs including developing talent pipeline globallyOwn the full end-to-end recruiting process while ensuring a positive candidate experienceProactively build a pipeline of talent to ensure the business has readily accessible talent in the marketWork on projects to upscale the Talent and HR Operations functions at AspireBe involved in employer branding initiatives regionallyHR Operations (40%):Support the delivery of people processes across the employee lifecycleBuild Aspire's People infrastructure and processes in the region including onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits, workforce planning and employee relationsAct as a primary point of contact for employees in the new markets, escalating more complex queries appropriately within the departmentProvide information and advice regarding the organization's policies and processes, while ensuring compliance with the organization's standard operating procedures and local legislative requirementsMinimum Requirements:A minimum of 8 years of end-to-end recruitment experience in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written English communication skillsCollaborative and proactive stakeholder management skillsIn-depth knowledge of HR best practices, policies, regulations, including employment law and compliance requirementsPreferred qualifications:Experience working at a FinTech and/or a startup environmentWorking in a globally distributed recruiting teamRelevant HR qualifications such as CIPDWhat we offer:Uncapped flexible annual leave.Training subsidy for your professional growth.Wellness benefit.Team bonding budget to foster collaboration and sense of belonging.Flexibility to work from anywhere (for up to 90 days per annum).Culture is Key: We always strive to cultivate a special culture that brings special talents together - You can learn more about our culture on our careers site and LinkedIn Life page.Equal Opportunity Statement:Aspire is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic as outlined by applicable laws.
