Systems Engineer required for a computing systems provider for space satellites and telecommunications based in Guildford.
The ideal candidate for this role will be someone with a technical background in embedded systems and telecommunications in the space industry.
Systems Engineer Job Overview Manage and participate in the system engineering process for advanced satellite communication systems, including requirements definition, architecture design, and system validation.
Develop and optimize digital telecom embedded systems to support satellite applications.
Perform detailed system-level analyses, simulations, and trade studies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate storage, processing, and connectivity capabilities into satellites.
Take part in the development of the payload RF frontend and contribute on signal processing algorithms tailored for space applications.
Systems Engineer Job Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in the design and implementation of satellite communication systems.
Knowledge of digital communication principles and satellite communication protocols.
Familiarity with antenna systems, RF propagation, and modulation techniques.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex communication systems.
Systems Engineer Salary & Benefits Salary- Circa £80,000+ (Dependent on experience and skillset.
