Principal Engineer An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Electronics Systems Engineer to join a pioneering company specialising in advanced networking solutions.
This hybrid role offers flexibility with 3 days remote working and on-site requirements in  Devon .
The role focuses on system architecture , product definition , third-party design service management , validation , and programme management for cutting-edge technology projects.
Specifically, you will lead the design and development of a PCIe card that integrates optical technologies and FPGA hardware onto a single platform.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technical excellence, manage external design services, and oversee the validation and delivery of high-performance products.
The ideal Principal Engineer will have: Extensive experience in hardware architecture and product definition .
Proven expertise in managing FPGA-based designs and optical integration .
Strong skills in third-party design service management , hardware validation , and programme management .
A track record of successfully delivering complex hardware products.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
