System Product Quality & Reliability (Q&R) EngineerAWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS's services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

Key job responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
- Development of DFx methodologies and BKMs (Best Known Methods).
- DFx activities during the product design stage.
- Product quality & reliability validation (QRV) and ongoing quality & reliability monitoring (OQRM).
- Q&R engineering of volume manufacturing: auditing, monitoring, risk assessment and disposition of non-conformance events/non-conforming material, defining and implementing corrective actions.
- RMAs: investigation, disposition, reporting and follow-up.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, applied physics, materials science or related fields.
- Knowledge and experience in PCB/PCBA design, manufacturing, testing and failure analysis.
- Knowledge and experience in quality and reliability engineering and statistics fundamentals.
- Knowledge of relevant IPC and other standards.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of fundamentals of computer networks and data processing is a plus.
