We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineering Manager based in Maidenhead to lead, inspire, and deliver excellence across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage engineering activities to deliver projects on scope, budget, and schedule.
Ensure a systematic approach aligned with ISO 15288 and ISO 24748 processes.
Delegate responsibilities effectively, monitor progress, and assure governance compliance.
Drive resource planning, risk management, and technical assurance across all lifecycle phases.
Collaborate with stakeholders, representing the business with customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and team development.
Required Skills & Experience: Proven leadership of engineering teams (10+ engineers) across multidisciplinary domains.
Comprehensive knowledge of Systems Engineering lifecycle and development models.
Experience in Defence/Aerospace industries, delivering regulated solutions.
Expertise in tools for configuration management, traceability, and metrics generation.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with Command & Control systems, sensors, communications, and encryption.
Strategic planning and technical leadership, with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel within the UK for customer and supplier meetings.
Valid driving license.
Significant on-site presence required.
