Main purpose of job: To provide technical and operational support to the Syndicate Underwriting teams through the analysis and processing of key policy data that facilitates the accurate monitoring and reporting of premium.
Contributing to the continued enhancement of policy data quality for all Syndicate Underwriting Teams by identifying areas for improvement through analysis of relevant MI and collaboration with key stakeholders.
Key tasks: For the Syndicate platform, assist the Operations and Underwriting teams in the processing of bureau market messaging data that enables the accurate monitoring of outstanding premiums.
Support the credit control process through data review and query resolution within the Policy Admin System.
Contribute to the reconciliation of premium settlements to written premium records for Consortia and other facilities when required.
Work with the Syndicate Underwriting Teams and other stakeholders to monitor data quality and identify and implement data quality improvements.
Support Finance and the underwriting teams in undertaking tasks that assist with the monthly close process.
Provide regular MI reporting to key stakeholders that facilitate accurate outstanding premium monitoring.
Assist with the production of regulatory returns, such as Lloyd's PMD.
Monitor and action Lloyd's Insurance Company (LIC) bureau queries on behalf of underwriting teams.
Contribute to the clearance of underwriting Data Validations.
Prepare and maintain relevant operational procedures.
Contribute to the Syndicate operating model as and when required.

Good excel and Office 365 skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with other teams to achieve common goals.
Key technical skills, knowledge and professional qualifications required: Some working experience in Lloyd's market and understanding of bureau messaging.
An understanding of Syndicate underwriting models and reporting.
Progressing towards professional insurance qualification, e.g.
CII Developing knowledge of key in-house Underwriting Systems.
Good working knowledge of Policy Administration Systems.
