Your Role and Responsibilities: As a Surgical First Assistant, youll be an essential part of the perioperative team, ensuring safe and effective patient care and assisting with complex surgeries.
Key responsibilities include: Delivering exceptional care for patients in the perioperative phase.
Assisting in the organisation and management of care in the Operating Department.
Contributing to continuous quality improvement and applying evidence-based practices.
Preparing surgical equipment, instruments, and consumables for diverse procedures.
Promoting a safe workplace and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Ideal Candidate Profile: The successful Surgical First Assistant will bring: Registered Practitioner status with NMC or HCPC registration.

Strong customer care skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
Experience in acute healthcare, ideally in Orthopaedics.
