Are you a small animal Veterinary Surgeon wanting to develop your career in a busy hospital?
Are you wanting to work in a well-equipped hospital alongside specialists in areas such as inpatient care, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, soft tissue orthopaedics and exotics?
If so, we are currently working with a busy RCVS accredited 24-hour Veterinary Hospital in Basildon, Essex that is seeking a surgical Bias Vet to complement their team.
This role is due to expansion, and the practice is looking for Veterinarians with a surgical bias. You will join a forward-thinking environment, practicing high standards of clinical care.
You will join a large team of 14 Vets, 27 Nurses and 8 students allowing you to see a varied and large caseload comprising of gold standard inpatient care, surgery, ophthalmology, cardiology, soft tissue orthopaedics and exotics.
The practice believes that your interests and growth should be supported and encouraged, so they don't have a spending cap on your CPD allowance.
To support your role, facilities include a dedicated CT suite, Isolation suite, Ultrasound, digital X-ray, laparoscopes and endoscopes. They are currently expanding their services to offer MRI and hydrotherapy rehabilitation.
As a full-time member of staff, you will benefit from working 4 days per week, with 1:4 weekends and no out of hours offering a great work-life balance.
As this role is for a surgical bias Veterinary Surgeon, the rota will generally consist of 2 surgical days, 1 day covering emergencies and 1 day of consulting.
