Position: 1798 Supporter Services Assistant (Adoptions) Location: Sidmouth, Devon Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 08.30-16.30, Monday-Friday Salary: £25,180 per annum Contract: Permanent Closing Date: Sunday 17 November 2024.

The Role As Supporter Services Assistant (Adoptions), you will complete the financial processing of selected income and maintain an accurate and legally compliant database of supporters' personal data and interactions with the charity, ensuring new and existing supporters of the sanctuary feel welcomed, valued and inspired to support the charity.
Your principal duties and responsibilities will include: Delivering an excellent experience to new and existing supporters of the sanctuary, ensuring that they feel welcomed, valued, and inspired to support the charity.
Positively engaging with supporters to resolve a wide range of routine enquires in a professional and timely manner.
Maintaining an accurate and legally compliant database of financial, constituent and membership records.
Processing gift aid information in accordance with HMRC requirements.
Personal accountability for GDPR compliance and the reporting of data breaches.
Providing assistance and advice to other departments on adoption related matters.
About You With knowledge of CRM databases and experience of processing confidential and sensitive data, you will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy, numeracy, literacy, and attention to detail.
You will have experience of working in a customer service environment and demonstrable customer service skills, with strong communication skills and the ability to connect with a range of audiences using a variety of mediums.
Adaptable to the demands of working in an area of rapid change and development, you will have proven organisation and planning skills and be able to prioritise your own workload to deliver to deadlines.
