The Role: Offering emergency and short-term accommodation for young people who are experiencing or being threatened with homelessness Provide waking nights cover at an accommodation-based service for 16-25 year olds Working closely with other Teams across the service to provide different levels of practical support to young people Carrying out welfare checks and inspections to ensure the health, safety and security Listening to people who need to talk.
The Candidate: Experience in supporting people with various needs and backgrounds.
A good understanding of young people's needs, safeguarding and emotional and mental health issues with an element of resilience Understand risk assessing and risk management.
Having the ability to apply common sense to situations, whilst being accountable for decisions made and reasons behind them.
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
