Care and Case Management Services Ltd (CCMS) are fully committed to delivering excellent support to all of our clients and their families and put their thoughts and expectations at the heart of everything we do!
We are extremely proud to offer very distinct and specialised case management services for adults and children recovering from an acquired / traumatic brain injury, spinal or catastrophic injuries and associated disabilities or conditions.
Please note we are NOT able to offer sponsorship for this role and therefore will not be able to progress any candidates who require a certificate of sponsorship to work in the UK.
We are recruiting for a support worker to work with a client who is 10 years of age who has epilepsy, learning difficulties, behavioural issues, feeding difficulties and requires support 24/7.
The client lives in the Wakefield area with his parents and siblings.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, activities of daily living and recreational activities, and empowering him to be as independent as possible.
The client requires complex support in his day to day needs.
We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualised support.
Previous care experience with children is preferred.
Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client.
The role will require some flexibility but will be predominantly Monday Sunday.
Applicants must be proactive, patient and organized and have a calm and confident demeanour.
The successful applicant will receive full training for this role, input from Therapists and regular supervision by Case Manager.
Driver with full UK License essential.
Ref: SWWAK1 About you: Full, clean UK driving licence Experience of delivering therapy programmes is desirable but full training will be provided.
Dependable and professional - you value honesty and discretion Experience of working with young adults with physical & cognitive impairment is essential, the position is suited to someone who has a positive attitude plus the ability to motivate & engage.
Previous experience working with clients with brain injury is preferable Friendly and approachable Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS and enrol in the DBS update service Flexible and you work well under pressure CCMS are not an employment agency, we help our clients to recruit their own support workers as part of our case management service.
You will be employed directly by the client, however, CCMS oversee all aspects of the clients care package on their behalf.
CCMS offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.
Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities in order to promote the best quality of life
