We are looking for those with a background in Autism who want to SUPPORT children ages 3-19 with additional needs within a SCHOOL setting.
Hours 8.30 am to 3.30 pm - 5 days per week Requirements: Candidates with previous experience as an Autism support worker are preferred. Priority will be given to applicants holding a valid driver's license. Effective communication skills are essential. We highly appreciate qualities such as compassion, patience, and empathy. Adaptability and flexibility in diverse circumstances are necessary. Commitment to supporting students in their success and well-being is crucial.
Responsibilities: Guide as an Autism support worker to students in their educational journey. Employ diverse methods to meet the unique needs of each student. Work closely with teachers, therapists, and caregivers to create effective support plans. Cultivate a supportive environment to boost social and communication abilities. Introduce regular interventions and activities to enhance academic advancement and performance.
