Job Description An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional residential care setting based in the Buxton, Norfolk area.
You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers \n \n This service provides the opportunity for people with a LD and very complex needs to create their own home in a residential care setting \n \n **To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care** \n \n As the Support Worker your key duties include: \n \n Using the training provided, assist those who we support by helping with daily tasks \n Be there to support in day to day life; such as social visits, family visits and also days out to some great, local attractions \n Keeping paperwork up to date to ensure everything is captured for each person who lives in the service \n Working positively with colleagues, families and external organisations to assist in supporting those who live in the home \n \n \n The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: \n \n Strong communication skills \n Takes pride in working with vulnerable people and takes safeguarding responsibilities seriously \n Effective decision making and judgement \n Strong planning and organisation skills \n Achieves all Health & Safety standards \n \n \n The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £11.50 per hour and the annual salary is £22,425 per annum.
This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week on days.
