Job Advert: Support Worker Transitioning to Education Location: Chorley Contract: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent (Starting January) Employer: Teaching Personnel Are you a dedicated Support Worker looking for a new challenge in education?
Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a full-time role at a supportive and nurturing SEN school in Chorley.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your skills to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
About the Role: Start Date: January 2025.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
Help students with autism, social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, and other learning barriers.
Work closely with teaching staff to create a positive, inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
Build trust and strong relationships with students to promote engagement and progress.
What We're Looking For: Experience in support work, care, or youth work, particularly with individuals with additional needs.
A proactive and patient approach to supporting children with SEN. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for helping young people reach their potential.
