Description Join Our Team as a Complex Care Support Worker!
We are looking for healthcare assistants and support staff to assist our young client in living independently and safely in their home near Eastbourne.
We are committed to your success and will provide comprehensive, paid clinical training to ensure you're equipped to meet our client's needs confidently.
Our experienced team of Nurses and Field Care Supervisors will offer continuous support and guidance as you grow in your role.
The client: You will be working with a 17 year old male who loves playing with trains and cars, and keeping active.
The ideal support worker will share his love for going out for walks, get involved with sensory play and accompany him in listening to music – especially garage!
Our client's clinical needs include PEG feeding, medication administration and moving and handling using a hoist.
He is non-verbal and therefore requires a support worker with excellent communication skills.
Shift Pattern:  We offer both full-time and part-time positions, with a minimum commitment of two shifts per week.
Type: 2:1 Day Shifts Hours:  16:00 – 22:00 If you have additional availability, and would be happy to travel to different locations, we have other clients in the local area which can be discussed.
Other shifts are available Monday through Sunday.
Choose your preferred days, and this will constitute your fixed schedule.

REGAON Responsibilities Full personal care.
Medication administration through PEG.
Assist the client with moving and handling, including the use of equipment such as hoists.
Confident and clear communication with the client.
Management of the client's asthma.
Full support with nutrition and hydration needs, including PEG feeding.
Carefully understanding and following the client's care plan, as advised by the Nurse Manager.
Prioritising the client's wellbeing, including raising any safeguarding concerns.
Requirements At least 6 months experience in a UK care environment.
Demonstrated experience with Complex Care clients.
A manual, clean UK driver's licence is required as the client's adapted vehicle will need driving.
