Support Worker

Support Worker in Waterbeach £13.30 per hour day rate & £11.44 per hour night rate Would you be interested in a part time caring role to support our almost 24 year old son in our home in Waterbeach?
J is a wheelchair user with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, visual impairment and learning disabilities but aside from all that he loves music, woodwork and eating chocolate cake!
Average hours 20 – 25 per week over 2 days a week with some weekend cover, we can be flexible with the working days.
£13.30 per hour day rate & £11.44 per hour night rate Enhanced DBS clearance is essential.
Supporting J with personal care, washing, changing and dressing.
You will get to escort him out and about in his wheelchair accessible van including attending gigs and eating lots of pub food!
If you have experience of supporting others with similar disabilities that would be great but is not essential as full training will be provided.
We are looking for someone who is patient and kind and interested in helping our son to get out more and meet new people.
A driving licence is essential.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in providing high quality care to support J to live his best life.
J has a great sense of humour so we would be looking for someone who will enjoy making him laugh.
You will need to be comfortable working in our home and respect our family privacy.
