Support Worker

Support Worker in CB25 £12 per hour A 15-year-old boy with additional needs.
O is non-verbal, has autism and is globally developmentally delayed, he can self harm when in pain or anxious.
He has a contagious laugh and enjoys trips out to the park on the swing and slide and loves a water park and theme park rides.
He has a very sweet nature and is generally gentle and happy.
£12 per hour Term Time: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 7.00am to 9.00am.
Option to support Thursday eve 4pm – 7pm, other PM shifts may be available.
An up to date enhanced DBS is required O's support is 2:1 so you will be working alongside a colleague.
Morning: Support getting up, getting dressed, personal care, support with breakfast and vitamin supplements.
Evening/after school: Personal care, support with dinner, going for a walk, out to the park, giving a bath, giving medication A mature natured person who is ok with pets and has a kind, caring & thoughtful nature.
Someone with patience and enthusiasm is a must.
Experience with non-verbal children and autism would be an advantage.
Someone who enjoys working alongside young people.
