Support Worker - Supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities Location: Bristol Hourly Rate: £12.50 + Sleep-ins (£60 per night) We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide exceptional care for an adult with learning disabilities in Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by offering support with daily activities, social engagement, and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities: Provide person-centred support to an individual with learning disabilities, focusing on their personal preferences and needs.
Assist with daily activities, including music, drawing, and other hobbies that the individual enjoys.
Support the individual with managing behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
Help with daily living tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care when required.
Be a positive role model and promote independence, social inclusion, and confidence.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment for the individual at all times.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities is essential.
A positive, patient, and proactive approach to support.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and rapport.
Ability to work flexibly, including sleep-ins when required.
A passion for making a positive impact in someone's life.
