We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you'll be supporting & more about the role: This role is to support across four different services in the Basingstoke area, which are all lead by the same experienced and dedicated service leader.
The services are within a few miles of each other and easily accessible by car, and by public transport.
The people we support, need assistance with personal care and to mobilise using their wheelchairs, along with support to enjoy their interests and hobbies.
They enjoy bowling and going for lunch at cafés.
Some also attend regular clubs, enjoy going on boat trips and they all enjoy like-minded people's companionship!
They need a staff team who can support them with all forms of transport; one person we support has their own mobility vehicle and they also enjoy using their bus passes, taking the train or using a taxi.
If you have a full UK Driving licence, this would be a great advantage!
The people we support need someone who can confidently support them to manage their physical health and can support at physio sessions in a hydro pool too.
