We are seeking a committed individual to be part of our new Wellbeing House service as a Support Worker.The Wellbeing HouseThe successful Support Worker will be based at our brand-new wellbeing house in the heart of North Somerset, a spacious luxury property, just outside Weston-Super-Mare. The Wellbeing House provides a free 7 day retreat for those experiencing mental health distress. As well as being a skilled support worker, we are looking for people who are empathetic and have the people skills to build trust with all our customers on every day.What you'll be doingAs well as supporting wellbeing and helping individuals you'll support with carrying out risk & needs assessments, complete progression plans for customers, and liaise with external agencies. You will promote social and leisure wellbeing activities within the service, link with other services, and safeguard customers in the eventuality of an escalation in needs and risk.You'll be part of a team of two support workers in the project, supported by a Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, working alongside other community-based agencies to deliver wellbeing and respite support within the community.More about youYou're a 'people person' with the ability to build positive and beneficial relationships with our customers.
You'll have a background of working within a supporting and social care environment.
You'll have passion for helping people live as independently as possible and be looking to work flexibly with a good home/life balance.You'll be IT literate, with a background of strong administration skills, and able to record your work accurately.
