Rate: £12.00 - £15.00 per hour We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading organization that supports individuals with learning disabilities across England.

About the Role As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in empowering individuals with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives.
From helping with daily activities to organizing fun outings and events, your role will be dynamic, hands-on, and incredibly rewarding.
No two days are the same!
We focus on person-centred care, helping individuals manage their daily routines, such as shopping, cooking, and budgeting, while also supporting them in accessing wider community events like concerts, sports, and holidays.

What You'll Do Promote Independence: Encourage and support individuals to be as independent as possible in their day-to-day lives.
Daily Activities: Assist with a wide range of activities, from cleaning and cooking to going on days out or holidays.
Community Engagement: Organize and support participation in activities both at home and in the local community.
Safety and Well-Being: Help residents stay safe and healthy, and assist with personal care needs when necessary.
Medication Support: Administer medications and ensure accurate record-keeping at all times.
Personal Development: Support individuals in developing life skills and pursuing personal interests.
S hift Patterns This is a 24-hour support service, so flexibility is key.
You will work a variety of shifts, including: Day shifts: 8:00am 3:00pm or 3:00pm 9:30pm Night shifts: 9:15pm 8:15am Weekend and Bank Holiday shifts are shared on a rota basis.
The Ideal Candidate While experience with learning disabilities and complex needs is beneficial, its not essential.
What matters most is your passion for supporting others.
You must also have the following training completed: Safeguarding Adults and Children First Aid Awareness Moving and Handling (People and Objects) Equality and Diversity Infection Prevention and Control Mental Capacity Act / DoLS GDPR and Data Protection Awareness Health and Safety Awareness Medication Administration What Were Looking For Caring, passionate, and enthusiastic individuals Flexibility, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude Team players with great communication skills and energy Willingness to learn and complete any required training Ability to manage the physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling Why Join Us?
